Hi, I’m Tricia Reid, a Pediatric Sleep Consultant & Certified Gentle Sleep Coach®.

I am a mother to two beautiful children, a sweet (but spicy) seven year old girl and an energetic (to say the least) four year old boy.

Seven years ago, as a new mom, I ran into many sleep issues with my daughter. As any parent can attest, erratic sleep patterns in young children can have a harrowing effect on your life. I was not prepared for this, to say the least. My daughter’s sleep issues began to impact my own personal happiness and my ability to give my child my best self. I spent countless hours scouring the internet for answers, reading books on pediatric sleep, and seeking advice from family, friends, and finally experts.

Hi, I’m Tricia Reid, a Pediatric Sleep Consultant & Certified Gentle Sleep Coach®.

I am a mother to two beautiful children, a sweet (but spicy) eight-year-old girl and an energetic (to say the least) five-year old boy.

Years ago, as a new mom, I ran into many sleep issues with my daughter. As any parent can attest, erratic sleep patterns in young children can have a harrowing effect on your life. I was not prepared for this, to say the least. My daughter’s sleep issues began to impact my own personal happiness and my ability to give my child my best self. I spent countless hours scouring the internet for answers, reading books on pediatric sleep, and seeking advice from family, friends, and finally experts.

Over time I put together what I thought were some of the most valuable lessons I had learned and applied them to my daughter. Soon she developed consistent sleep patterns which made her a happier, healthier child, and I recovered the energy and happiness I had felt slipping away. At that time, I realized that this was a passion of mine and was eager about the prospect of sharing what I had learned with other tired parents. I put together the information I had picked up through my research and personal experience, formalized my education by getting my certification in Kim West’s Gentle Sleep program, and embarked on my career as a pediatric sleep consultant.

Sleep plays such a crucial role in the development of a child's brain. Sleep is vital for healthy brain function in both children and adults.  Giving your child the gift of healthy sleep habits will not only help your child's development, but also allow you to get the rest you need to be a great parent.

I am here to support you and guide you through this journey and to help you navigate your way to a well-rested and happy family.
